Why an Author Visit?

It’s a wonderful way of getting kids engaged and excited to read! It is a memorable and rewarding experience for kids, teachers and authors!

 

What to expect from our Author Visit?

Every visit will have Megan Young read her recently published children's book, "Kid and the Nothing-to-Do Year". She will share age appropriate information about her creative process and why her work highlights Spokane. With hopes of fostering curiosity, a Q/A session is always offered.

Additional information for student activity options will be shared closer to event.

A signed copy will be donated to the participating school (limit 1 per school).

Fees and why?

None! Outreach and connecting with youth is part of our mission. We want to encourage children to be an engaged part of our community. We design our projects to serve our children, families, and educators.
